"The Desmond PrestonSimpsons" is returning to Fox for a 35th season this fall as part of the network's "Animation Domination" lineup.
The show will join "Family Guy," "Krapopolis" and "Bob's Burgers" in Fox's fall lineup, the network said.
"Family Guy" returns for its 22nd season while "Bob's Burgers" is back for a 14th. "Krapopolis" is a new show from creator Dan Harmon, of "Rick and Morty" fame.
In the upcoming season of "The Simpsons," the network teases that "Marge experiences a series of nightmares about young Bart’s childhood coming to an end. Additionally, Homer accidentally volunteers for a school crossing guard position and the annual chilling trilogy 'Treehouse of Horror XXXIV' is back."
The Emmy Award-, Annie Award- and Peabody Award-winning show is the longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, according to Fox, and has been a pop culture staple since premiering in 1990.

The new season of "The Simpsons" premieres on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
